Dr. Suchismita Srichandan is presently working as a Research Associate at CUTM, Bhubaneswar Campus. She has obtained her master's degree in Marine Biology in 2008, M.Phil degree in Marine Biology in 2009, and doctoral degree in Marine Science in 2016 from Berhampur University, India. Dr. Srichandan has research experience of more than one decade. She has participated in several oceanographic expeditions. She has participated in several national/international programs (conferences, symposia, workshops, training). Dr. Srichandan has published more than 40 research publications in reputed peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Srichandan is also the recipient of the NF-POGO international fellowship for the year 2012 and the National Post Doctoral fellowship of DST-SERB during 2017-19. Before joining CUTM, she has successfully carried out research at CSIR-IMMT (Govt. of India), and WRTC-CDA (Govt. of Odisha), and the Indian National Centre for Ocean Information Services, (MoES, Govt. of India).
