Prof. Misra is a Professor in the Department of Mathematics and the Dean of School of Applied Sciences, Paralakhemundi Campus. His Ph.D. is on “Study on Different Aspects of Two-Phase Flow Phenomena” from Berhampur University, Berhampur, India in the year 2003. He has over 22 years of teaching and 8 years of research experiences. He has published 40 research articles and 9 book chapters in National and International journals and has authored three books. He has also published a Patent entitled “Enhancement of Thermal Conductivity through best Nanoparticle and Liquid Pairing” in the year 2015. He has produced 3 Ph.D. scholars and is presently guiding 9 Ph.D. scholars. He has participated, delivered invited talks and also chaired in 25 National and International Conferences/Seminars till date. He is the reviewer of some International Peer-reviewed journals. He has visited Mauritius in 2011 & Botswana, Africa in 2012 & 2016 to deliver research talks. He is a life member of ISTE, OMS, ISRD & IAENG. His areas of research interest are Dusty Fluids, Nano Fluids, and Computational Fluid Dynamics.
